December Raleigh Events

When you are staying in the heart of downtown Raleigh at Revisn you have quick access to tons of great events each month. In our breakdown of December Raleigh Events you'll see that it's no different as we hit the heart of the holiday season. If we missed anything in the upcoming weekends feel free to comment below!

Ice Skating at Red Hat Amphitheater

Until Jan 15 you can skate at The Rink located at Red Hat! There’s Christmas music and plenty of areas to hang out with fire pits, games and beverages. There are even special events throughout the season and igloos for rent!

Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars

Head just down the street to PNC Arena for this all new production that has figure skating, high-flying acrobatics, stunts, special effects and more.

Evening with Elves

Marbles Kids Museum hosts this annual family celebration with s'mores outdoors, arctic museum play and a special visit from the Snowflake Fairy. Receive an official elf name and dance the night away with the Marbles Elves.

Elf the Musical

This hilarious musical at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts follows the smash-hit 2003 movie that’s now a Holiday classic—and is sure to make everyone embrace their inner elf. After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.

Marbles Gingerbread Jamboree

Another great event at Marbles Kids Museum where you can create memories with your very own keepsake gingerbread house!

WRAL First Night Raleigh

Festivities begin with the early afternoon City Plaza outdoor musical performances and the Children’s Celebration at 2pm. Performances and activities will continue throughout the evening across multiple indoor venues throughout Downtown Raleigh. The night is capped off with music on the outdoor Main Stage, the famous Raleigh Acorn Drop, and a spectacular fireworks show.

The Avett Brothers New Year’s Eve

Spend New Year’s Eve partying with the Avett Brothers and special guest Marcus King at PNC Arena!
