Galaxy Con Presents Animate Raleigh

It's an ANIMATION CELEBRATION at GalaxyCon Presents ANIMATE! RALEIGH for 3 days of anime, animation, cosplay, and more from Jan 5-7.

The celebration will feature entertainment, Q&As, video and tabletop gaming, panels, costume contests, cosplay wrestling, and so much more fandom for you to explore.

Ice Skating at Red Hat Amphitheater

Until Jan 15 you can skate at The Rink located at Red Hat! There’s Christmas music and plenty of areas to hang out with fire pits, games and beverages. There are even special events throughout the season and igloos for rent! Make sure you check this out before it’s too late! 

Carolina Hurricanes Hockey at PNC Arena

Just a short drive from downtown you can experience the excitement of Hurricanes hockey all month long! The Canes have 8 home games in January including super fun nights against some of the NHL’s best like the Pittsburgh Penguins on January 13. There’s nothing like supporting the Canes and you can often get tickets as cheap as $25 in the upper deck.

MLK Campus Commemoration at NC State University

You can join the NC State campus community as they celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and commemorate him with this year’s theme — Persistence: A Roadmap to Equity, Freedom and Justice. From January 15-19 you can engage in intergenerational conversations, discourse, art, music, and community centered around our continuation and persistence of Dr. King’s goals for equity, freedom, and justice.
