Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival

August 28 from 9am-6pm; August 29 from 12:39-5pm at Cary Town Hall. Free admission to this kid-friendly event.

Victory Ride to Cure Cancer

August 28 at NC State Centennial Campus; 7am-5pm. Registration required.

From the website: The Victory Ride to Cure Cancer presented by Braswell Family Farms is a one-day charity cycling event hosted in Raleigh, NC. Riders can choose from 10-, 30-, 60-, or 100-mile routes and spin classes on ride day.

Prior to the event, riders can also participate in the MyVictory Month Virtual Experience from July 28th – August 28th and ride any time, and place and any wheels while participating in cycling and non-cycling competitions for friendly camaraderie.

100% of rider-raised funds benefits cancer research locally and throughout the U.S.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research looks forward to hosting the event at NC State University's Centennial Campus pending COVID guidelines. As always, the health and safety of everyone involved in the event is paramount and we will take necessary precautions per state and health officials.
